Students from ISIK College Eastmeadows Campus and Star of the Sea College in Brighton recently shared their vision and goals for the relationship that has started between their schools with the commencement of the Leading Lights Project.

The Project is a product of the Memorandum of Understanding that was signed by the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne and the Australian Intercultural Society in 2007 and will involve Catholic and Muslim students from 10 schools across Melbourne.

Coming together on 25 February 2008 in Brighton, 30 Year 9 and 10 students met and exchanged their ideas for what their learning experience might encompass and shared some Turkish food.

Students from schools involved will meet four times throughout the year.
