Editorial
Australia is a nation
enriched by diversity of many different faiths and cultures.
Promoting interfaith dialogue, harmony and peace in these diverse
multi-faith communities in Australia is imperative. There needs to
be more concrete relationships between those faith communities.
This can only
be achieved through social interactions based on mutual respect and
trust. The Australian Intercultural Society strongly believes that
co-organized projects focusing on "Social Inclusiveness" is the most
practical solution to the problem of stereotyping those who are not
like us. The AIS will continue to organize, promote and support
interfaith and intercultural events that enhance social cohesion in
Australia.
