We live in an age where different cultures, religions and even the nations of the world need to work in collaboration in order to produce ideas and projects that will offer solutions to humanitarian issues we are faced with today. The world of Islam is also at a crossroad. Renown for his dialogue activities and ideologies regarding the integration of Muslims living in Western nations, Fethullah Gulen is also amongst the 100 public intellectuals, along with Pope Benedict XVI and Amos Oz. The top 100 public intellectuals were chosen by the FOREIGN POLICY Magazine. Amongst the nominees there are philosophers, scientists, human rights activists and religious leaders. We encourage our e-dialogue subscribers to take a minute to cast their votes. With your votes the honors will be given to the top five intellectuals of our time. Participants from last year’s tour briefed the group who are taking part this year about their travels and their salient experiences. “The enduring memory is the people,” said Assistant Commissioner of Victoria Police. They were extremely welcoming.  Everywhere we went, we left with a gift.  We got to meet some fabulous people.”
