Part II of glimpses of Turkey took place on Tuesday the 10th of June 2008. During the program, the previous participants used an overhead projector with their own collection of slides and videos of the tour explaining their experiences. Their common unforgettable experiences were the Anzac Services at Gallipoli, historical places and Mosques of Istanbul, the hospitality of the people and the food. Those who had signed up for the upcoming tours were already excited about the trip. The first group is due to leave for Turkey on Monday the 21st of April. |

This annual event
of the Australian Intercultural Society brought together past
tour participants to talk about their
experiences of AIS's
Intercultural Study Tours to
Turkey. The program was
significantly informative especially for those who are attending the
scheduled study tours this year
or in the future and for those
with in an interest in the
region.
