BOOK LAUNCH: "GUARDIAN OF THE FLAME"

Peter Barnett introduces his latest book

One of Melbourne's renowned personalities, former director of Radio Australia, Peter Barnett AM launched his latest  book during a program held at the Melbourne University. The book entitled, "Guardian of the Flame", devoted to the life and legacy of the great Turkish religious scholar Said Nursi was introduced to a large audience who participated in the event.

The author delivered a speech that included his experiences during an intense research venture which included 3,000 km journey through Turkey.  Guests were treated to delicious traditional finger foods and refreshments during the program. At the conclusion of the event Peter Barnett signed his books for the many enthusiasts who attended the launch. The event was organized by the City Circle Australia, in collaboration with Nur Foundation of Dallas which were the main contributors in the publishing of "Guardian of the Flame".
