“Love thy neighbour they say. But who is the neighbour? Answer that first;” said Professor John Esposito at Friday’s lecture.
Over 250 people attended Friday night’s lecture by Professor John Esposito. He began discussing how little scholarship there was on Islam when he first started his study of world religions and finished by advising attendees to offer multifaith education in their respective organisations.
A big thank you to the Australian Catholic University and the Ecumenical and Interfaith Commission of the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne for hosting this event with AIS.
