The horror effect in the film is achieved through claustrophobic camera work. American houses, ideally designed for killer attacks, are a separate reason to be terrified. The ability of the characters to continue acting after several obvious fatal shots or stabs is really amazing: in the new part, the limits of allowed blood loss exceed any permissible limits, even within the artistic world of slashers. In the end, the exhaustive Hollywood ideas that the creators of the new film wanted to exquisitely beat led to a spectacular, but still secondary film.
Did it all sound a little confusing and a little oversaturated for one movie? However, for the first hour (and the total time is 1 hour and 45 minutes), nothing will happen on the screen at all! What is this story finally about? About the relationship between mother and daughter? About real friendship? About a worldwide conspiracy? They tried to tell us everything, but they didn't tell us anything.
